Bihar ration card

New ration card applied by candidate can check their online status and also download their ration card list from www.epds.bihar.in and sfc.bihar.in.

The Food & Civil Supplies Corporation Limited, Govt. of Bihar issued the ration cards to citizens of Bihar state. The BSFC Bihar has issued four types of ration cards to households like BPL, APL, AAY, and Annapurna.

Types of Ration card in bihar

BPL Ration Card

BPL Ration Cards have been issued to the citizens of the Bihar government whose income is less than Rs 24000 / – per annum and are below the poverty line. BPL Ration Card is available in red.

APL Ration Cards

APL Ration Cards have been issued to the citizens of the Bihar government whose income is more than Rs 24000 / – per annum and are above the poverty line. BPL Ration Card is available in Blue.

AAY Ration Card

The Anthyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) rations cards are issued the poorest of the poor citizens of Bihar state. The AAY Ration cards are in Yellow Color.

Annapurna Ration Cards

The State Govt. of Bihar has issued the Annapurna Ration Cards to old-age pensioners of the State.

How to apply Ration card in 2020

STEP 1.  First of all candidate visit on official website www.epds.bihar.in

STEP 2.  In the home page click on the left side of panel 'RCMS' tab.

STEP 3. Select your district click on the show button.

STEP 3. Now select urban and rural areas which you belong from one of the two options.

STEP 4. Click on your ration card dealer name.

STEP 5. Click on your ration card number and details will appear on the screen.

STEP 6. Click on the print page and take print out of your page.

1. Ration card also uses as an identification verification proof for various purposes.
2. Ration Card holders can get food grains and other commodities at fair prices from subsidized shops.
3. It is also useful for including names in the electoral list.
